SERVICES
Armando looks forward to working with you through a creative process to design an engaging piece of work with purpose.
Armando and his team start the process with a call or site visit to find out more about your organization. We want to learn about your goals for the space, budget and timeline. From there, we begin a design phase to create your custom piece of art.
installations
Armando uses a wide variety of media, like acrylic, latex or spray paint to create work that is designed to site specifications. The work can range in size and theme, but is always done with passion and purpose. Armando believes that public art is for the community and leverages all resources possible so that the mural created becomes a tool for the client. Armando prides himself in carrying the Mexican tradition of Murals and is constantly pushing himself to connect with communities.
STUDIO WORK
Armando’s artistic practice focuses on compelling portraits that tell personal stories that expand beyond the canvas. Armando uses his Mexican roots as fountain of color to energize his paintings. His work is influenced by pre-hispanic cultures, decayed colonial architecture and Mexican Folklore. “I want my paintings to as refreshing and enjoyable as an ice cold popsicle on a summer day,” Armando says.
LIVE ART
These are paintings created live for a variety of events. Armando takes the stage to create work that speaks to the client’s ambitions. Whether it is for an intimate fund raiser or for entertainment in front of thousands, Armando shares his process with devotion and intent. These live paintings serve as a great way to recognize individuals or bring attention to an idea within an organization.
WORKING TOGETHER
There are times when a mural, a painting, or a live piece of work are not enough to truly capture, master or express for a specific opportunity. Armando looks to grow and connect with communities, schools, businesses and non-profits and a great way to do this is a residency. These are curated specifically to the client and offer a variety of options, (workshops, demonstrations, live work, murals, collaborative work, design and one on one meetings) This is a great way for Armando to immerse himself into the culture and create meaningful dialogue that leads to a culminating leave behind piece of artwork.
